These Analysts Expect The Switch 2 Will Launch For $400

More details on the Switch 2 are set to be revealed in an April livestream, and one of the key selling points–quite literally–will be its official price. With recent geopolitical events and several other economic factors to consider, industry analysts have offered insight into how much the Switch 2 might cost.

Speaking to CNBC, MST Financial senior research analyst David Gibson predicted a $400 price point based on Nintendo securing a better supply chain for the console and strong third-party support. Dr. Serkan Toto of Kantan Games Inc. (via IGN) also believes that $400 will be the right price for the Switch 2, and Circana’s analysts Mat Piscatella and Piers Harding-Rolls explained to IGN that they also have that price in their projections.

Both Harding-Rolls and Piscatella suggested that Nintendo could sell the Switch 2 for $500, noting that early adopters would be willing to pay that much for the console and that Nintendo could always lower the price in the future.
