Koei Tecmo announced during Sony’s February State of Play a new game in the Warriors franchise–and it’s releasing right away to boot. Warriors: Abyss is described as a roguelike take on the franchise, allowing you to develop your powers and call in iconic Warriors characters to defeat the hordes.
The gameplay trailer showed an isometric perspective to the action, but your warrior is still wiping out dozens of enemies at a time with massive attacks. This take on the franchise also has you descending into hell–a departure from the often historically-based stories of many Warriors games.
