After years of development, Assassin’s Creed Shadows is out now. You don’t need a console or a high-end PC to play the game, however, as it’s available to stream in multiple places.
In addition to being available to stream for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers, people can sign up for Nvidia’s GeForce Now service to stream it there after buying the game outright. This is similar to the Game Pass option, as its part of the “stream your own game” perk for Ultimate subscribers.
If you’re new to GeForce Now, the appeal of this service–and cloud gaming platforms in general–is that you can play new games without needing powerful, expensive local hardware. That’s because games stream from, in this case, Nvidia’s server racks.
