During the February 2025 Sony State of Play, WWE 2K25 gave off its first look at The Island, a new PvPvE social space that seems heavily inspired by The City in NBA 2K. A trailer hosted by WWE’s Paul Heyman gave us an early look at the mode, letting players customize their character, take on others in challenges and limited-time events, and–of course–spend money on branded virtual cosmetics.
