Trump says having an American pope is a ‘great honor’

President Donald Trump said it was a “great honor” that an American was chosen to be the next leader of the Catholic Church. American-born Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost was chosen by the conclave and will be known as Pope Leo XIV.
